November Newsletter
Hello! I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!
This month we welcomed a new full time family and I’m anxious for you all to
meet them! Allen and Shelby Schmitz are the parents of aDoRaBle Baby Jaden (2.5
months old) We look forward to caring for baby Jaden and for all of you to meet
this fun young family! Be sure to introduce yourselves when you see them!
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Aimee and Brennan for now, but will be
seeing them when there is room for drop ins! Aimee lives in the neighborhood so
we will be sure to invite them on walks and playing at the park when we go!
Aimee and family are a very special part of KidOasis and we will miss those
crazy blonde curls everyday!
With adding a new little one, Kaycee has increased her hours and we are very
excited to have her here more often! Shes a GREAT asset to KidOasis and the kids
enjoy her so much! She recently taught them some new dances and songs that she
does with her dance students, which were so silly and fun!
I hope you have all met Tiffany Ingham as one of our afternoon helpers and we
welcome back Alex to our afternoon Labor crew! This is a special year for Alex
and Jinah as it will be their last year working for me before heading off to
college! We plan to make it very memorable and I know we will all miss them so
much! All of my helpers do an amazing job with the kids and Im lucky to have
them! Feel free to ask them for their number and use them as personal
babysitters or recommend them to your friends! I have had all of them babysit my
girls and Im always happy with the care! I know you will be also! (even when
Alex puts a diaper on backwards, right Leo? Haha!)
No nagging reminders this month! I am so impressed with every family keeping
their spare clothes stocked, bringing warm coats/hats/mittens each day lately
and for having such great communication with me!
This month’s preschoolers will be enjoying a calendar full of fun activities and
exploring the changing weather and neighborhood! Be sure to keep reviewing the
alphabet letters, numbers, colors and shapes we have already learned! They are
all doing great with their Spanish and sign language! Tho the “2 yr olds” are
not actively doing the preschool curriculum, they are very active in our job
chart, calendar and circle time and some art projects. I love hearing them sing
and use imaginative play in the themes we are doing in preschool! Too cute!
Dates to note
KidOasis will be closed Friday Nov 11th for Veterans day as a paid
Holiday. Again I have to forfeit my Veterans day celebrations with former
shipmates due to a full day of appts at Mayo! It will be nice to get them out of
the way without having to take extra days off tho!
November 24th and 25th I am also closed for the
Thanksgiving Holiday! Thursday is a paid holiday and Friday as an unpaid
personal day (last Friday of the Month)
Next month look forward to plenty of winter and holiday activities, a handful of
Birthdays and PARENTS NIGHT
OUT!!!!!!

a part of your child’s life and your family! I feel like they are all a part of
