KidOasis July Newsletter
Hello and Thank you for taking time to read this month's newsletter!
Last month we kept plenty busy with
outdoor activities and the bug collecting has been the highlight so far this
summer! I'm getting less squeamish each day! This month we are not holding back
on the fun at all, so be sure to post your activity calendars and watch them
closely!! Some highlights of the calendar I wanted to touch base on...
July 7th the children are
invited to bring their bikes from home for BIKE DAY! We will be riding in the
cul de sac across the street all together in the morning and again hopefully in
the afternoon. It will depend on the traffic. The kids are welcome to bring
helmets but please label well! Please park your child's bike in the grass
alongside the driveway.
July 21st we are headed to
the park for an old fashioned picnic, so please pack your child a sack lunch.
Using all disposable containers would be very helpful as I can't keep track of
everyone's Tupperware etc. If you will be including yogurt or something that
requires silverware, please let me know so I can provide them. Label your
child's brown paper bag well!
July 23rd we will be taking the 3+ yr olds to a matinee at the Faribault Movie Theater providing there is an appropriate kid�s movie playing! Please send your child with $3 for a snack! The "Under 3" crowd will be hanging out here with Nana or Joel for some fun outside activities!
I
have posted blank calendars for July and August for you to write in any schedule
changes for your child/children. It also helps remind you of my time off.
Any vacation days do require a 2 week notice. Reminder, all full time
families are eligible for 5 days unpaid vacation time. A vacation request form
can be found in the entry and must be approved 2 weeks prior. Any questions
about vacation time please see me or refer to my policies on

On the same topic of schedules, please
remember to verbally communicate, call, email or text any time your child will
be arriving/departing earlier/later than normal. (If the schedule change is more
than a half hour difference from normal) Each child's schedule affects meals,
activities, walks and etc. Thank you!! I briefly check email at 9am, 11 am and 2
pm if you plan to email any changes, comments, questions or concerns! (This is
just my summer break schedule! I can't scam away this much during the school
year! LOL)

additions! Carter, Devon and Thea have created very special places in our hearts
and made many new friends!
