August Newsletter
We survived
July! August should be a breeze as we look forward to a shorter Daycare month
and more fun activities for us here!
Not much to
report this month as far as reminders! Just the usual... Check your child's bins
for size and weather appropriate spare clothes, check to be sure we haven't run
out of sunscreen and thank you for submitting your payments on time!
KidOasis
will be closed August 24th, reopening Tuesday Sept 1st.
This is paid vacation time so tuition can be paid the week previous or mailed to
arrive by noon on Tuesday. Friday August 28th is an unpaid day, so
there are 5 paid vacation days instead of 6. If
anyone needs back up for this week I am closed, please see me for a list of
other providers or Teens that may be available! We are looking forward to our
first family camping trip since we were a small quaint family of 3! The girls
are way excited and I think it will be a great experience for us all!
I didn't
plan any field trips on the activity calendar this month, but we plan to visit
Jumping around at least a few times!
The wonderful thing about these outings is the ability to WALK!
I will keep you posted at least a few days before we go. Each child MUST
have socks on for this event. Last time we had to run to Kmart and BUY socks for
those that didn't have any! YIKES!
We will be
celebrating August Birthdays for Ryan (4) Jazmin
(11) and Joel ... Can anyone guess? We hope to make their day special!
Thanks to all of the families that have been so encouraging
and understanding with the obstacles our family has faced the past year! Joel
continues to be seizure free!!!!!!! Amazing life changing for him and us as a
family! My recovery and Health continues to improve and I feel amazing! The kids
are just excited that I can play on the floor again and that I can be their
human jungle gym!
I also
still have some enrollment openings if you know of anyone looking for quality
child care! I currently have openings for 2 children, one of them being a
toddler opening. In the fall I will have 2 more. Word of mouth is my best
advertising and I hope I can use many of you as references!
Some changes and updates have
been made to my policies that can be viewed on my website.
It is nothing major, just clarifying some
illness policies and updating late fees etc.
